Opposite Flip

Your child acts out a word, then flips to its opposite — big to small, fast to slow, happy to sad.

Category: Literacy · Duration: ~6 min

1. Say "big" and puff yourself up as large as possible. Then say "small" and shrink down tiny. 2. Your little one copies. Big... small! Make it dramatic. 3. Try more pairs: fast/slow (walk across the room both ways), happy/sad (faces), loud/quiet (voices), up/down (stretch and crouch). 4. Now YOU act one out silently. Can they guess the word AND its opposite? 5. Let them pick a pair and act it out for you.
