1. Next time your little one has a small scrape (or use a pretend one), talk through it calmly. 2. A cut means the skin got a tiny tear. Your body sends special helpers in your blood to fix it. 3. That's what a scab is — a little shield while the skin grows back underneath. 4. A bruise means something bumped you hard, and tiny blood vessels leaked a little. The colors mean it's healing. 5. Put on a bandage together and remind them: your body is amazing at fixing itself.
