Practice three things to do when you feel really frustrated: breathe, squeeze a pillow, tell someone.

1. Talk about it: "Sometimes things make us really mad or frustrated. That's normal." 2. Teach three tools: breathe deep, squeeze a pillow really hard, and say "I'm frustrated" out loud. 3. Practice each one right now. Breathe together. Squeeze the pillow. Say the words. 4. Ask: "What makes you frustrated sometimes?" Listen without fixing. 5. "Next time that happens, try one of your three tools. You've got this."
