One and Many

Practice turning words from one thing into many things — cat becomes cats!

1. Hold up one finger: "One cat." Hold up many fingers: "Two... cats! We add an S." 2. Play the game with easy words: dog/dogs, ball/balls, shoe/shoes. 3. Try some tricky ones: fish/fish, mouse/mice. "Some words are silly and don't follow the rules!" 4. Walk around and point at things: "One chair... two...?" Let them finish.
