Question Words

Learn four question words — where, what, why, how — and practice using each one.

1. Introduce the four question words one at a time: where, what, why, how. 2. For each, ask a simple question and answer it together: - "Where is your teddy bear?" (on the bed!) - "What is your favorite snack?" (crackers!) - "Why do we brush our teeth?" (so they don't get yucky!) - "How do you put on your shoes?" (show me!) 3. Ask your little one to make up a question for each word. 4. Celebrate every question they ask — being curious is a superpower.
