Leaf Gallery

Your child collects leaves, sticks, and petals outside, then arranges them into a picture on the ground.

Category: Creativity · Duration: ~10 min

1. Head outside — backyard, park, or just the front step. Tell your little one, "We're collecting art supplies from nature." 2. Gather leaves, sticks, small rocks, petals, grass — whatever is on the ground. No picking from living plants. 3. Find a flat spot and arrange the pieces into a picture. A face? A flower? A house? A totally abstract design? 4. Talk about it: "I love how you used the stick as a nose!" Let them rearrange as much as they want. 5. Take a photo before you go. It's art that goes back to nature — and that's cool too.
