• age-appropriate jigsaw puzzle

1. Pick a puzzle with big pieces — 12 to 24 pieces is plenty for this age. 2. Show your little one how to find the edge pieces first (flat side = edge). 3. Build the border together, then fill in the middle. 4. Give hints by pointing to the picture on the box. "Where does this red piece go?"
