Glasses and Eyes
Learn about how our eyes work and why some people wear glasses.
Category: Math & Science · Duration: ~5 min
1. Look at each other's eyes up close. What color are they? Can you see the little black dot in the middle? That's the pupil. 2. Cover one eye and look around. Now switch. We use both eyes together to see well. 3. If anyone in the family wears glasses, explain: eyes are like tiny cameras, and sometimes the picture is a bit blurry. Glasses help make it clear. 4. Look at something far away, then something close. Your eyes adjust automatically — like magic. 5. Remind your little one to keep their eyes safe: no rubbing with dirty hands, wear sunglasses on bright days.
