1. Pull up a world map or globe together. 2. Point out: "The blue parts are water — oceans. The other parts are land — continents." 3. Name the continents as you point: "This big one is Africa. This cold one on top is Europe." 4. Let your little one pick a spot and say: "I want to go there!" Talk about what might be there. 5. Find where you live. "We're right here on this big map!"
