Step outside on a cold day and talk about what your body does to stay warm

1. On a chilly day, step outside together for a moment. Ask: "How does your body feel? What's different from inside?" 2. Point out goosebumps, shivering, red cheeks — "That's your body telling you it's cold!" 3. Go back inside and feel the warmth. "What could we put on to stay warm outside?" 4. Let them pick a jacket, hat, or blanket and go back out. "Better now?"
