Stranger Smarts

Role-play what to do if a stranger asks you to go somewhere: say no, run, tell a grown-up.

Category: Life Skills · Duration: ~10 min

1. Start gently: "Most people are nice, but sometimes we need a plan just in case." 2. Teach three steps: Say "No!" loudly, run to a safe person, and tell a grown-up what happened. 3. Practice together — you pretend to be a stranger offering candy. They practice saying "No!" and running to the couch (the "safe spot"). 4. Talk about who their "safe grown-ups" are: parents, teachers, grandparents. 5. End on a positive note: "You're so brave for learning this. Most people are kind, and now you know what to do just in case."
