Seed Starter

Plant a seed in a cup of dirt together and put it by the window.

Materials

• cup
• soil
• seed
• water

1. Fill a cup with soil together — let them scoop and pour. 2. Poke a hole with a finger and drop in a seed. Cover it gently. 3. Water it a little bit: "Not too much! Just a drink." 4. Put it by a sunny window. "Now we wait and check every day." 5. Over the next days, water it together and watch for the sprout. The excitement when it finally pokes through is real.
