Find things around the house with corners and things with smooth round edges.

1. Pick up a book. "Feel this — it has corners. Sharp points where the edges meet." 2. Pick up a ball or orange. "Feel this — no corners. It's smooth and round all the way around." 3. Go on a hunt: "Let's find five things with corners and five things without." 4. Look at tables, plates, pillows, boxes, bowls, picture frames, clocks. 5. Talk about why some things are round and some have corners. "A plate is round so food doesn't get stuck in corners!"
