First, Then, Last
Your child puts three pictures or steps in order — what happened first, then, and last.

1. Draw three quick pictures of something your little one did today. Example: waking up, eating breakfast, brushing teeth. 2. Mix up the order. Ask, "Which happened FIRST?" Let them point. 3. "What came NEXT?" and "What was LAST?" Line them up together. 4. Use the words "first," "then," and "last" every time: "FIRST you woke up, THEN you ate, LAST you brushed." 5. Try it with a story they know: First the bear went for a walk, then he found a house, last he ran away.
