Fix It Together
Practice solving a pretend argument: say how you feel, listen, and find a solution both people like.
Category: Social Skills · Duration: ~5 min
1. Set up a pretend argument: "We both want the same toy. What do we do?" 2. Step 1: Say how you feel. "I'm upset because I want to play with it too." 3. Step 2: Listen to the other person. "Okay, you want to play with it. I hear you." 4. Step 3: Find a solution together. "What if you play first, then I play? Or we play with it together?" 5. Practice the whole thing. "That's how we solve problems without fighting."
