Practice the whole bathroom routine — go, wipe, flush, wash hands — and earn a high five.

1. Walk through each step together, even if they know some already. 2. "First we sit. Then we go. Then we wipe — front to back." 3. "Flush! Watch it swirl." 4. "Now the most important part: wash hands with soap. Sing our ABCs." 5. High five with clean hands! "You did the whole thing yourself. That's awesome."

Tip

Depending on your kid's temperament, avoid having them flush since the loud noises can scare some kids!
