Change Detective

Your child spots what's different after you rearrange a room, then talks about how change can be okay.

Category: Emotional Growth · Duration: ~8 min

1. While your little one is in another room, move three things around — swap pillows, move a chair, put a toy in a new spot. 2. Call them in: "Something's different! Can you find what changed?" 3. After they spot the changes, ask: "Was it scary or fun? The room is still our room, just a little different." 4. Talk about bigger changes: "Sometimes things change in life too — new teachers, new rooms. It's still okay." 5. Let them rearrange something for you to find. Give them the power over change.
