Squish and Shape
Your child sculpts something from playdough — an animal, a letter, a face, anything they imagine.

1. Put a ball of playdough in front of your little one. No instructions yet — let them squish and explore for a minute. 2. Ask, "Can you make an animal?" Any animal counts, even a blob with legs. 3. Make one yourself next to them. Talk about what you're doing: "I'm rolling a snake body, now I need a head..." 4. Ask them to tell you about their creation. "What's their name? Where do they live?" 5. If they want more, try making tiny foods for a pretend meal: pizza, cookies, bananas.
