Cheer Squad

Your child practices clapping and cheering for someone else's accomplishment instead of their own.

Category: Emotional Growth · Duration: ~6 min

1. Tell your little one about something you accomplished today — even something tiny: "I finished all the laundry!" 2. Ask them to cheer for you: clap, say "Yay!", jump up and down. Make it big and fun. 3. Now pretend to be a friend: "Mia just learned to skip! Can you cheer for Mia?" 4. Practice cheering for three different people or scenarios. 5. Say, "When you cheer for other people, it makes them feel so good. And it actually makes YOU feel good too."
