My Home Address

Learn your house number and street name by singing it to a favorite tune.

1. Sit together and say your address out loud, slowly: "We live at 123 Maple Street." 2. Pick a tune your little one knows — Twinkle Twinkle or Happy Birthday work great. 3. Sing the address to that tune together a few times. 4. Ask them to try saying it on their own. Prompt with the first word if they get stuck. 5. Walk outside and point to the house number on your door or mailbox. "See? That's OUR number!"
