Marker Faces

Your child draws silly faces on their arms or hands with washable markers — happy, mad, surprised.

Category: Creativity · Duration: ~8 min

Materials

1. Give your little one washable markers and hold out your hand, palm-side up. "Draw a face on my hand!" 2. They draw a face — eyes, nose, mouth. Ask, "Is this face happy or grumpy?" 3. Now they hold out their hand or arm and you draw one. Make yours silly. 4. Give each face a name and a personality. "This is Grumpy Gary. He hates mornings." 5. Have the hand-faces talk to each other. This washes right off — but the laughs stick.
