1. Hand your little one an orange. Ask them to describe it — color, shape, texture, smell. 2. Start a small peel for them, then let them pull the skin off. It's messy and that's great. 3. Break it open and count the segments together. 4. Look for seeds. Smell the peel. Talk about how the thick skin protects the juicy fruit inside. 5. Eat it together!
