Your child picks any book, and you stop on each page to ask 'what do you think happens next?'

Materials

1. Let your little one pick any book — their favorite is fine, even if you've read it 100 times. 2. Before turning each page, pause and ask, "What do you think happens next?" Accept every answer. 3. Read the page. "Were you right? Or did something different happen?" No wrong guesses. 4. Point to pictures as you read: "Look at his face — how do you think he feels?" 5. At the end, ask, "What was your favorite part?" Their answer tells you what landed.
