Hand your little one a phone and let them take pictures of things they find interesting.

Materials

• phone or tablet with camera

1. Show your little one how to hold the phone steady and tap the button to take a photo. 2. Go for a short walk — around the house, the yard, or the block. 3. Tell them: "Take a picture of anything you think is cool." 4. After the walk, sit together and scroll through their photos. Ask about each one: "Why did you pick this?"
