Reduce and Reuse

Find things you were going to throw away and think of a second use for them.

1. Before taking out the trash, look through it together (just the clean stuff!). 2. Hold up items and ask: could we use this for something else? 3. A jar becomes a crayon holder. A paper towel tube becomes a telescope. A plastic container becomes a tiny drum. 4. Pick one item and give it a new life together. 5. Talk about how making less trash helps keep the earth healthy.
