Hopscotch Hop
Draw a hopscotch grid and hop through the numbers on one foot and two.

1. Draw a hopscotch grid on the sidewalk with chalk — numbers 1 through 8. Single squares and double squares. 2. Show your little one: single square means one foot, double square means both feet land at the same time. 3. Demonstrate the whole thing once. Exaggerate your hops. 4. Let them try. Hold their hand the first time through if balance is tricky. 5. Once they've got it, toss a small rock on a number — skip that square!
