Trading Fair

Practice trading toys with each other: offer something, ask if they want to swap, and agree or say no nicely.

Materials

• a few small toys

1. Each of you pick two toys. 2. Show them how to offer: "I have this car. Would you like to trade for your dinosaur?" 3. Practice saying yes: "Sure, let's trade!" Swap the toys. 4. Practice saying no nicely: "No thank you, I want to keep this one." 5. Try a few rounds. Talk about how both people should feel happy after a trade.
