Sock Show

Your child puts socks on their hands and puts on a puppet show — voices, drama, and all.

1. Grab two mismatched socks. Put one on each hand. Open and close your hand like a mouth — instant puppet. 2. Give your puppet a silly voice and a name. "Hi, I'm Mr. Stinky Feet!" 3. Help your little one do the same with their sock. Ask the puppet questions: "What's your name? What do you like to eat?" 4. Start a mini story: "One day, Mr. Stinky Feet went to the grocery store and met..." Let your child's puppet jump in. 5. Perform for a stuffed animal audience if you want — or just keep the show between you two.
