• wooden spoons
• plastic containers

1. Raid the kitchen — flip a pot upside down, grab a wooden spoon, find a plastic container with a lid. 2. Show your little one a simple beat: tap-tap-pause, tap-tap-pause. 3. Let them copy you. Then let them make their own beat. 4. Take turns being the drummer and the listener. Can they repeat what you played? 5. Put on a song and try to tap along to the music.
